About Will Design and Engineering

The best way to tell  about Will Design and Engineering is to describe the logo.

To start, the font draws inspiration from the  mid-century modern era and was chosen to inspire and pay homage to the Walt Disney Imagineers and to the great architecture from that time. The Imagineers did not set limits to what they could achieve; their designs and accomplishments are still on display and enjoyed decades later. Just like the Imagineers, architecture from the mid-modern era pushed the limits of design. The only limit these architects had was their own imagination. WDE plans to have the same approach. Problems and designs are only limited to the mindset of thinking it is not possible.

The hexagon shapes containing the letters WDE was picked because of strength and how it tessellates. This structure is found frequently in nature from honeycomb to volcanic formations. The hexagons in the logo reflect a natural strength, togetherness, and appeal from nature and as a company to be strong, together, appealing, and sustainable.

The gear in the logo represents focus on the mechanical aspect of the business. From designing, building, or installing mechanical systems and components, that is what we do best.

In the letter "D" of the WDE logo, there is gold fingers, the  gold lines on printed circuit boards. This part of the logo represents the dedication to use of technology to deliver the best quality and efficiency. Technology advances fast, WDE is striving to be ahead of the curve.

Lastly, the name, "Will Design and Engineering" is a play on words that we will design and engineer as well as a company in which I am proud to put my own name and reputation on.

Thank you for reading and getting to know what WDE is about.

Sincerely,

Will Gordon
